The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the St. Louis Rams without Mark Barron today, while Tavon Austin is also likely to miss today's game.

Mark Barron will not be on the field today for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The strong safety, who's having a very good second NFL season, did not travel to St. Louis due to a hamstring injury, the team announced yesterday. Keith Tandy will take Barron's place in the lineup, which likely means more in-the-box duties for Dashon Goldson.

Without Barron the Bucs are likely to struggle against Jared Cook, the Rams' leading receiver. The tight end can't block anyone, but he's a dangerous weapon through the air and the Bucs have struggled to stop tight ends at times this year.

Meanwhile, Ian Rapoport reported today that Tavon Austin is unlikely to play today due to an ankle injury. The Rams lack weapons on offense, although Austin hasn't been able to do much this season. He's been more productive in recent games, though, and brought a much-needed explosive element to their offense.

The Bucs and Rams play at 1:00 PM today.
