Yeah, so much for Martin retiring.... I guess we can call him the Brett Favre of NASCAR. I have never been a fan of his - he's always been a very negative person in the interviews I've heard him conduct. I think he'll do well with Hendrick's equipment, but I doubt he'll win the Cup.
QFT - I remember he was leading the points in 2007, and he was all "Oh, I ain't gonna win it anyway..." And then he "retired" for a year and a half.
He's been a favorite since I can remember - he's very respected in the garage and the Nascar fan base...
I like Mark Martin not because he gives a good interview but because he races well. I hope he does well with Hendrick Motors but I still won't be able to pull for the whole team like I did with Roush racing.
