Without looking the information up (and don't try, I will know and will have someone crap down your throat), see if you can match the 4 following stat lines for the 4 qb's below after their first 15 games started in the NFL. 1) 15 games started, 12 td, 20 int, 53.8% completion, 63.0 rating 2) 15 games started, 9 td, 15 int, 53.7% completion, 65.2 rating 3) 15 games started, 16 td, 13 int, 56.0% completion, 73.9 rating 4) 15 games started, 13 td, 11 int, 53.9% completion, 73.1 rating The 4 quarterbacks that match 1 of the corresponding stat lines: Steve Young Jamarcus Russell Mark Sanchez Tim Couch
1) Sanchez Everyone knows about his 20 interceptions. If you're not a Jets fan or a Trojan fan, you're most likely a hater and it's the only stat you bring up to prove that he sucks and that he'll always suck. 2) Russell He'll never get more TDs than INTs so that rules the next two out for him. 3) Couch Cause it's the only slot and player left. 4) Young He sucked at the beginning and I have a feeling this is a trick question, otherwise it would defeat the whole purpose of the thread in showing rookie season stat lines don't mean jack crap, therefore he wouldn't have the best stat line available.
i will give people a little more time to guess .............................. **********Automerged Doublepost********** ok, well, apparently no one else wanted to guess. you all got #1 right ........ Mark Sanchez. however, #2 is actually Steve Young ........ pretty weird, eh? #3 is the best of the bunch after 15 starts and that was Tim Couch That leaves Jamarcus at #4 ............. I have been Mark Sanchez's biggest critic. He reminds me of Matt Leinart in a lot of ways. He struggles to read defenses, isn't able to go through progressions properly, and fails to improvise in most cases to make a play. however, maybe he's not a lost cause because those were the same things people were saying about steve young early in his career in the nfl. do i think sanchez is going to turn into young? hell no, but maybe he has a better chance of longevity in this league than i thought ....... or, then again, he could become tim couch or jamarcus russell .........
Hell yeah, I guessed right. Gotta remember, Young was a Buc before he was a Niner, and not a Pewter-buc, a Creamsicle-Buc
