there's word that if Matt McGloin, who will start vs. the Texans because of Pryor's injured knee, plays well on Sunday, the team could keep him as the starting quarterback. So says the San Francisco Chronicle and the NFL Network's Mike Silver: "While the young Oakland Raiders signal-caller has the support of owner Mark Davis, others in the organization aren't convinced Pryor is the long-term answer." Source: CBS Sports SteveRobWhatever's Take: Pryor has made some plays that have landed on ESPN highlights but his passing has been shoddy at best. For the year he's got a 58.9 completion percentage, five touchdowns vs. 10 interceptions and a quarterback rating of 69.0. Those numbers aren't giving the team the 'warm and fuzzies' when it comes to Pryor being the long-term solution in Oakland.
You have to be able to throw the bean, I don't care how 'athletic' your QB is. McGloin has been on-point all day. He's got a QB rating over 120 right now.
