Mets general manager Sandy Alderson is leaning towards making a substantial offer to pending free agent shortstop Jose Reyes, according to two sources.Reyes injured his hamstring on Saturday against the Yankees, but Alderson didn't seem deterred."He may be out just one day," Alderson said when asked if even a mild hamstring strain could influence contractual strategy with Reyes."Before we jump to any long-term conclusions, let's see about this injury.
