The Dolphins are finding ways to win games. I won't be surprised if they find a way to get a playoff berth in a weak AFC. I'm beginning to think that we have been overrating the Eagles and Cowboys chances the past couple of years because they both continue to struggle. The Bears have been piling up some wins against easier opponents but their schedule gets harder in the 2nd half of the season. In a tough NFC, they're going to need to avoid losing too many of these tougher games and missing out on January. Neither the Ravens or the Steelers have played to their potential this season but I expect both of them to be factors in January. How miraculous would it be if Luck were to lead the Colts to the playoffs in his first season with a somewhat untalented roster? Everyone keeps doubting the Falcons and they just keep winning. Will they be a factor in January? The Giants look solid thus far but they may be playing too well which means they won't repeat. They can only win playoff games on the road. Even spending a fortune has not fixed the Bills defense. In fact, they're even worse this year than they were last year. What are some other thoughts from everyone else?
The Dolphins are learning how to close, Sparano never had teams that could finish. Just look how bad he is running the Jets.
The cowboys you won by a hair and the eagles you lost to even though your statement isnt that off coming from you just looks silly
Exscuse me, who's sitting atop of the NFC east, that's right....the Giants. Let's look at the cowboys, wow you guys need to dumb down your playbook for your franchise QB, i'd be more concerned about that, than the Giants defense. Now let's look at the Eagles how many interceptions/fumbles does Mike Vick have something like 13, and I'm lowballing you on that. Plus he needs to carry a ball around so that he doesn't fumble it anymore, what the heck is this highschool, come on now bro, you've been a pro for years and now you need to "get a feel for the football." yeah that's a really solid team right there, way to go on getting rid of the defensive coordinator, he definitely had a lot to do with Mike Vick throwing pick after pick after pick after pick. You guys wanted it, there ya go.
If it weren't for the turnovers, you know how many points NY scores? 6. Elisha threw for under 200 yards in that game, too.
All things considered, I think the pass defense has played pretty well. They're the only defense in the NFC East that has not allowed an opposing QB to pass for more than 300 yards in a game this season. I have a feeling that may change on Sun. night. Ryan, Jones, and White are very good.
Not to mention they lost to Dallas week 1. An 8th of an inch and NY gets swept Sent from my HTC Vivid
It's the CBs. Carr and Claiborne are excelling in press. Makes it harder for those short passes to develop Sent from my HTC Vivid
Where did I say our D was great? Also it was a news report that Dallas was dumbing down the playbook for Romo.
You know that Cruz got held in the endzone in week 1 and that TD would've been the difference, as for an 8th of an inch, football is a game of inches my friend.
