Second-year RB Mike Goodson is getting a chance to be the Panthers' featured back with DeAngelo Williams (recently placed on injured reserve), Jonathan Stewart and Tyrell Sutton dealing with injuries. He rushed for 100 yards in his first career start, but, even if continues to succeed as the No. 1 rusher, Pro Football Weekly hears he'll revert to his former role as a complementary back when those ahead of him on the depth chart are healthy.
