Mike Martz is not headed to the Chicago Bears –- or to any other NFL team, for that matter. A story in Wednesday's Chicago Sun-Times reported a source close to Martz as saying the former Rams coach might be coming to Chicago in 2010, perhaps as the Bears' new offensive coordinator, replacing Ron Turner. Reached by phone by Sporting News in his San Diego office Wednesday afternoon, Martz denied the report. "This if the first I've heard of that," Martz said. "I just walked into the office and sat down. You could knock me over with a feather right now. No. No. They've got an offensive coordinator right now. And he's a good one. I have not talked to Lovie," Martz added, referring to Bears coach Lovie Smith. "You shocked me. You surprised me with that one." Source: Sporting News
It's coming to the point where we almost can believe anything. These reporters are seemingly so desperate they are just like politicians. Maybe they are wanna-be politicians and they're just practicing?:icon_eek:
