Manager Mike Scioscia of the host Los Angeles Angels has been picked as an AL coach for next month's All-Star Game. Two coaches were chosen Thursday for each league, and all of them are managers of teams in California. Scioscia and Oakland's Bob Geren will assist AL manager Joe Girardi of the New York Yankees. San Francisco's Bruce Bochy and San Diego's Bud Black will work with NL manager Charlie Manuel of the Philadelphia Phillies. The All-Star Game will be played July 13 in Anaheim. ESPN.com
