MMA Top 10 Rankings Released

    The updated MMAWeekly.com World MMA Rankings were released on Wednesday, Nov. 16. This system ranks the Top 10 MMA fighters from across the world in each of the seven most widely accepted men’s weight classes and the Top 10 pound-for-pound women fighters. Taken into consideration are a fighter’s performance in addition to win-loss record, head-to-head and common opponents, difficulty of opponents, and numerous other factors in what is the most comprehensive rankings system in the sport.

    UFC essentially owns MMA at this point. Even dudes who fight/fought in other organizations have signed UFC deals since UFC is buying up the competition. But here's hoping to see guys in small organizations on this list eventually. UFC also brings the most media attention so some dude that fights in Reno Cage Fighting and destroys everyone might not get a lot of attention until Dana notices him.

    i would love to see silva move up in weight class and fight jon jones. i think that would be an awesome match-up
