No, not about QB's who can tinkle the ivories or pluck a few cords. Which teams are going to see many a different starter at the position this year? For me: Raiders: Russell might not play much but I could see McCown starting off and it being only a matter of time before Culpepper gets a shot. Browns: It was chop change last year and I could see Fyre and Anderson playing before handing over the reigns to Quinn at some point in the 2nd half of the seaon. Chiefs: Huard and Croyle will both play at some point I reckon. Miami: Apparently, they have joint #1's. So they are joint #2's too! I could see John Beck getting involved at some point. 10 different starters at QB for the Phins since Marino retired. Any others? Jaguars, Vikings, Bucs maybe?
I think the Bucs fall in that group, how could they not. They're clearly not happy with Garcia because Gruden is always looking for more QBs.
I think Daunte's got the spot secured over in Oak-town.. Same for Green over in the MIA.. I think the biggest controversies will be in Cleveland and Tampa Bay..
Sounds like the Vikes have added themselves to this group also....Heard they Picked up Kelly Holcomb today.....he's a possibility in case Jackson doesn't get it done but I'd say leading contendor is Browns....Quinn will be qb before season is over.
What about the Falcons? Harrington couldn't get it done in Detroit or Miami, think he'll do better in Atlanta?
For the Chiefs, Huard deserves the shot. He proved himself last year when Green went down. The "kid" just needs to wait his turn--he proved in this last game that he is not ready; not even close!
