The two most disappointing things about this game

1. Energy level - we were a step behind and flat footed on both sides of the ball. Heartbreaking to watch in a pivotal game, with playoff seeding on the line. Our running back core was the only group I could see playing with passion. But they were lost in a sideline full of lethargy.

2. Wide Reciever Play - this was the area where I thought we could expose them, due to lack of depth on their end. Boy was I wrong. No separation, lackluster effort all around. TE's too. Jimmy had his moments, but he was harassed all night and that wore on him as the game progressed. That should have opened things up. People will poi t to the o line again, but I thought they held up ok given the circumstances. WR play was just putrid tonight.

This is still an good team, but we aren't going anywhere postseason-wise if we don't pack our defense, and as a result have to abandon our run game getting behind as we did tonight. We just don't have the receivers to spread it out and make teams pay consistently anymore. I don't understand what happened to Lance Moore.....and Stills needs Meachums reps. Not sure why he's in there so much. Time to mix it up there....

Offense's problem isn't execution, its play-calling. But even then the D is the main culprit as to why the Bears suck, with Tucker and Conte both wearing ski-masks while picking up their paychecks.

Lol, it would be really nice if Conte actually turned his head around once in a while. I have a feeling that actually looking at the ball might increase your chance of successfully making a play on it.

you guys are all quitting on Rex when 3 weeks ago after beating the Saints you guys wanted to give him an extension! The fan-base plays a role in who coaches this team and we are about to run the best coach we've had in years out of town.

Yes, he is the best coach the Jets have had in years but all that does is make him the smartest goober in the room. He is in over his head. Cut bait.

I am not laying this entire mess at the feet of Rex, but come on, do you boys that feel the need to fellate him on a regular basis think that he's not had a major part in the assembling of this roster? The chain of command absolutely would include his input in a major way on draft picks, especially high picks.

Can it be a coincidence that the Jets signed an aging, broke-down QB with virtually no shot at challenging the rookie for playing time TWICE through 2 different GM's and he had nothing to do with it?

Alex Smith is probably the best QB in the AFC West. Maybe even the entire AFC.

as much as I do not put Alex in the good or elite QB category, he has to have exceptional talent around him to be a good serviceable QB, that will miss a lot of times when the game is on the line.

To be fair and honest here, Alex has exceeded my expectations. It's the OC and WR's I have the serious issue with right now. It does not matter who we put back there at QB, if we don't catch it and the OC keeps calling crap plays, nobody is going to succeed.

This to the mutha****in max. How many ****ing times are they going to call the screen pass? People have figured that crap out, take it out of your playbook for the next month then maybe run it, ONCE. We do that crap like five times a game and it only worked once, four games ago.

Is it possible someone else on the coaching staff can get in his hear and politely tell him that he sucks at calling games?

This forum has actually made me be less enthusiastic about being a Broncos fan. Were 11-3. Relax lol we have a fun team to root for and you guys cry like babies every time were losing. Just be enthusiastic that we get to be fans of a HOF quarterback and a high powered offense.

Well. I think everyone underestimated what the 4-3 was going to do to us. Had we still been playing 3-4 this year, we'd be top 10 easy.

LMAO, now thats funny. Top ten what? Top ten of the worst defenses in NFL history maybe. This a bad team with bad players, bad coaching and bad ownership. Josh McCown and Matt McGloin lit us up, what do you think is going to happen the next three weeks against Flynn, Cousins and Foles.
