Nate Solder awaits OK in tricky concussion situation

    FOXBORO — Patriots left tackle Nate Solder has tried to keep a separation between his football responsibilities and medical concerns.

    Solder has suffered two concussions this month, giving him four diagnosed brain injuries in his three-year NFL career. Last week, he missed his first game as a pro because of the injury. The 25-year-old admitted it’s a concern but would concede only that he’s trying to prepare for Sunday’s game against the Bills while allowing the Patriots medical staff to monitor his medical progress.
