The New Orleans Saints have sold out the 70,000-seat Louisiana Superdome on a season-ticket basis for a fourth straight year. Saints vice-president of ticket and suite sales Mike Stanfield says team officials weren't sure what to expect because of the national recession, but found no lack of demand. Stanfield says the waiting list for Saints season tickets continues to grow and is now more than 50,000. Source: Canadian Press
"Stanfield says the waiting list for Saints season tickets continues to grow and is now more than 50,000." this now puts the saints towards the top of the league in waiting lists if this is accurate. sometimes these numbers are hard to believe though.
Yup, it puts them 6th on the list: NFL season ticket waiting lists - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Redskins: 155K Giants: 135K Packers: 78K Eagles: 70K Steelers: 65K Saints: 50K
wr, thanks for posting that, although i don't really believe the numbers the teams throw around but it's an indication that they have some sort of waiting list. regardless, in general it sounds like the saints have a waiting list for season tickets which is great because they were considered one of the teams in trouble financially.
