Tattletales: NFL teams ask for text messages about rowdy fans Drunk and unruly fans are a huge problem in NFL stadiums. Between the drinking, the cursing, the fights, the cursing, the stumbling and the cursing, NFL games provide as much of a kid-friendly atmosphere as a night out with Plaxico Burress. But now, NFL teams think they have developed a technique to curb boorish, abusive behavior at games: tattling. At 29 of the NFL's 32 stadiums, fans can now send a text message to report disorderly conduct of nearby fans. Source: Shutdown Corner
I'm signed up for Bills text alerts and I get that one about the narc hotline before every home game. Funny stuff.
I wonder if Chiefs, Browns, Rams and Bengal fans can text security about the way their teams are playing and have them removed?
They didn't give up Dougerrr, they just failed to execute it right.....that's pretty normal though. :devil1:
I was at Ravens- Steelers game last Sunday, and the mother heckers stopped selling beer at the end of half time. That will stop a lot of the bull crap.
Fed Ex Field has this, but I dont see security at the top only ushers and they're not breaking up anything
What a horrid idea, next you'll have people mobbing up and smashing fans for having their mobile phones out. I know, it may seem un-American but why not limit the flow of beer? Can't be on the go when there's no fuel in the tank, if you get my meaning squire.
I don't know about all other NFL stadiums but at Soldier Field, beer sales are cut off five minutes into the 3rd quarter of each game.
