New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi put All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano back in the lineup for the first time since he injured his hand on Tuesday. Girardi said that Cano must make it through batting practice before he will make a final decision. On Tuesday night in Toronto, Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ nailed Cano on the left hand with a fastball. X-rays were negative and the Yankees diagnosed it as a contusion. Cano sat out Wednesday's game, the first he had missed all season. Source: ESPN New York
