New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter was not in the lineup Sunday against the Boston Red Sox, and manager Joe Girardi doesn't know when the veteran shortstop will return. Jeter has reinjured his surgically repaired left ankle, which has been fractured twice since last October. "His ankle is a little sore, so we are probably going to give him a couple of days and make an evaluation," Girardi said.
