NFL Director of Officiating Dean Blandino admitted that referee Jeff Triplette’s crew made two errors in the waning moments of the New York Giants victory over Washington on Sunday, yet another in a series of mistakes by Triplette over the years. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/NFL-admits-error-in-WashingtonNY-Giants-game.html [ame="http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-york-giants/0ap2000000291250/First-down-confusion"]First down confusion - NFL Videos[/ame] Triplette is now close to Phil Luckett-levels of incompetence. Triplette's former claim to fame was pretty much ending Browns OT Orlando Brown's career when he hit the linemen in the eye with a weighted penalty flag. Getting full-time officials is long-overdue, and refs like Triplette shouldn't be allowed near a Pee-Wee football game, let alone a NFL field.
Agreed The nfl makes enough revenue to pay these guys. I the off season they can be assigned differ camps to attend and help with the teaching and explaining the new and existing rules. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Teams/players are on the clock all year long to be judged by 'seasonal' employees. Yea, that's a winning formula...
as much as im enjoying this onslaught the redskins are facing, i want them to lose fair and square, not due to a ref issue
and I want them to win fair and square. Obviously that can't happen till RG3 an RG2 start talking what is on their mind. I am furious at the rumors that have come out in recent days that RG2 is getting heavily involved in how his son is playing the game under Coach Shanny. We gave up a lot to get him and I don't want him or his father to dictate what happens in the franchise. (although it might actually be better then Snyder!) lol
