The Carolina Panthers have been advised by the NFL to travel to Kansas City after Saturday morning's fatal shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs facility, according to a report from the Charlotte Observer. Interim general manager Brandon Beane says the NFL has advised the team to travel as planned. The team charter was scheduled to leave at 1:15 p.m. ET. A Chiefs player died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Saturday morning at the team facility, according to Kansas City Police communications supervisor Kathy Childs. The shooting occured at 8:10 a.m. local time. The police also said another fatal shooting off-site was linked to the shooting. "We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation," the Chiefs said in a statement Saturday. Source: NFL.com
I'm gonna go ahead and guess that they'll do what the Redskins did, when Sean Taylor died. First drive on defense, line up, with the FS(in this case MLB) position off the field. Just so you know, I'm not comparing the 2 deaths. Sean Taylor's death was a tragedy. I know I'm about to piss people off, but it was pretty much all Belcher's fault. He did it to himself.
From what it sounds like Belcher was 100% guilty here. There is no reason good enough to do what he did.
