After seeing fans jam London's Wembley Stadium to watch the NFL the past two years, the league is considering adding a second regular-season game overseas in time for the 2010 season. Commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday the second game could also be played in London or another location in the United Kingdom. The issue will be discussed at next week's league meetings, and could be included in a larger plan to add up to two regular-season games to the NFL schedule. "The fan reaction we've had in London has been extraordinary. We would like to feed that passion," Goodell said after speaking at the Charlotte Touchdown Club. "We have a great fan base in the UK. There have been discussions of taking the second game and playing it in another market in the UK. That's something that we'll evaluate."

Seems like a dumb idea to me - Canada & Mexico sure but the UK just seems like too much of a stretch.

The UK is fine with one game, I don't there's anyone who feels that a second is needed here and it might end up having a negative effect if there is.

I REALLY want the second game to go to Germany, it's simply amazing how many Germans I've seen around the stadium and the underground that have come to the game and if anyone deserves it, it's them.

Yup, especially with all the jetlag both teams face. Then again, whenever a team goes over to the UK to play a game, it's usually just before their bye week anyway.

How about this takes games away from season ticket holders. I'm all for sending a preseason games overseas but not when it counts.

I agree totally, but imagine if you were in the same position as I am and your given the chance to watch it live once a season. I doubt you'd be against it.

I would not be against it. But being a season ticket holder I can't be happy with it because it takes away from the possibility of home field advantage.
