The NFL has contacted Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss in regards to his role as a patient for Canadian doctor Anthony Galea, the man who has been accused of smuggling HGH into the United States to inject athletes. Commissioner Roger Goodell, making an appearance at the Washington Redskins training camp in Ashburn, Va., said that Moss has been contacted, according to the Associated Press. Moss has reportedly told teammates he was treated by Galea, but was never injected with HGH, a banned substance in the NFL but not one the league currently tests players for in its screenings. Per the report, Goodell said the league is "cooperating with and following very closely" the criminal investigation into Galea. Pressed for more information on Moss and the possibility of a suspension, he said, "I like to know the facts first."
