As the NFL and the NFL Players Association continued to haggle today with no collective bargaining agreement in sight, NFL executive Jeff Pash wondered tonight if both sides share the same sense of urgency. “If both sides have an equal commitment to getting this deal done, it will get done,†Pash said, per the Boston Herald. “I don’t know if both sides have an equal commitment. You’ve heard plenty of what I’ve heard as well. If that’s the case, if both sides have that commitment, there’s a deal to be made.†Meanwhile, NFLPA spokesman George Atallah said that the players' union will return for talks if requested by federal mediator George S. Cohen. If there's no deal by Friday, then there will either be another extension, a lockout or decertification. According to ESPN, Pash gave owners an update during a lengthy conference call today.
