Texans defensive end Antonio Smith was fined $12,500 by the NFL on Friday for a hit he delivered in the 35-27 loss to Indianapolis on Sunday. On linebacker Brian Cushing's interception return, Smith was called for a personal foul for hitting tight end Dallas Clark away from the play. Clark wasn't attempting to make a tackle.
