NFL International Series 2008

Anyone on these boards planning on attending the game at Wembley between the Saints and Chargers?

I got my email from the NFL Tickets department today saying:

Hopefully I'll get some tickets and attend the game for the second year in a row. Last year was of an awful standard but hopefully this season's will be better.

im going, went last year and im hoping for the exact same seats as last year. Right on half way bottom row of tier 3. about £200 cheaper than club wembley for about 5 metres higher.

 

I paid for club wembley tickets last year and decided this year I wouldn't go if I didn't get a chance in the lottery.

How much did Club Wembley seats set you back?

 

I got my email this afternoon too, hopefully get tickets. I went last time and paid about £55 per ticket, the same tickets are £80 this year :icon_eek:

Maybe have a GIF meet somewhere in the stadium?

Think it was 80 but food and drink cost a ton in there as well.

 

Bloody hell, I think I paid about 70 for my tickets but I sat on the top tier! The robbing *****. :damnpc:

 

Didn't think I would be chosen since I said I had got tickets for the first one when I applied but I have:icon_smile:

Phew, panic over. I didn't get ripped off as badly then.

 

A was sat next to a Dallas fan from Dallas :icon_frown: He left early as well.

 

I left just into the 4th quarter.

 

why?

 

a.) The bar ran out of beer.
b.) The bar ran out of food.
c.) The game was amazingly bad.
d.) There was an annoying Canadian sat next to us didn't know the rules of the game.

 

I know it was crap but I still wanted to see it all and the end did get better. I wasn't gonna pay all that money to miss some of it.

 

A lot of reasons listed why I just won't bother with it. Ok, admittedly, if it was the Redskins I would give my left bollock to go but otherwise, if I want to see the Saints or the Chargers, I'd just rather go to their respective cities, get more bang for my buck and get a genuine NFL experience.

I went to the American Bowls in the late 80's/early 90's. They were good but I can understand why the public got pissed off with an experience that wasn't quite the real thing. They were fun at the time though.

 

Not exactly racist, since he pulled the plug on the most German NFLE. He just love the Brits, maybe he like his hookers served with a peppermint dip :bad:

What I heard from some buddys who visited the game last year, they sold tix for a few on the gates. Save money guys and buy them before the game.

lol, empty seats during the 4th quarter. You didn't saw this at Frankfurt, not even if the game was a nightmare for us.
