NFL Says No To Super Bowl Viewing Party At The Superdome

According to the Superdome spokesman, Bill Curl, they are unable to grant the requests from many local Saints fans to open the dome for a Super Bowl viewing party. The NFL will not allow it because they do not want tens of thousands of people to watch in a stadium because of the negative effect it could have on TV ratings, which the networks use to sell commercial time to advertisers.
