FOXSports officiating analyst Mike Pereira has been critical of the replacement officials so far this year. Pereira was the NFL's vice president for officiating so he has a keen eye in evaluating the replacement officials. Pereira tweeted today, "Here's what I think of officiating in GB/SF: Not too strong at this point." NFL spokesman Greg Aiello took to Twitter and fired back at Pereira today writing, "Kind of like when you were out there." Of course Pereira was in charge of the officials in 2001 when the NFL last used replacement officials. Pereira responded writing, "That's the first honest thing you've said in awhile! Well if you don't want him to complain make sure that the officials don't suck. They weren't awful but heck they weren't anywhere near good. They have a LONG way to go. I really miss Ed Hoculi.
What the heck is Aiello worrying himself with what Pereira is doing...he's got a job to do for Fox and he's doing it...

Blown calls happen. But the way these calls are happening..consistently? It's absolutely horrible. It's not just one game. It's SEVERAL games.
