Former Houston Texans punter Brett Hartmann has been suspended by the NFL for an additional eight games. He was already suspended for the first three games for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy. Hartmann was cut during the preseason. Hartmann was signed by the Texans last year after going undrafted out of Central Michigan. The Texans signed him last year after cutting Brad Maynard, but then he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in December and was placed on injured reserve. Source: Scout.com
