DeMaurice Smith, the new executive director of the NFL Players Association, stopped by Halas Hall Thursday on his trek through all of the league's cities to discuss the owners' decision to opt out of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement and the ramifications that decision could have on the players and the league. Before speaking with Bears players, Smith sat down with a small group of media representatives to discuss what has already become a critical period in labor negotiations between players and owners.
