It has not been determined when Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew will meet with St. Augustine Police investigators about last Sunday’s altercation at the Conch House in which a security guard accused Jones-Drew of punching him, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports. Hank Coxe, the Jacksonville attorney for Jones-Drew, said in an email to the Times-Union on Saturday that his client meeting with authorities is “affected by lots of different schedules so [a meeting is] not set yet.†Once the police launched their investigation on Tuesday, they said Jones-Drew was cooperating and a source indicated Jones-Drew would meet with authorities on Friday, once he returned to the area from south Florida. But Friday came and went without a meeting, much less a statement from Jones-Drew describing his version of the events. No charges have been filed against Jones-Drew. Source: The Redzone
