Several NFL hopefuls will be on display on Tuesday when Notre Dame holds its annual pro day, although quarterback Jimmy Clausen, the Irish's top draft prospect, will not be among those working out in South Bend, Ind., in front of scouts. He's still recovering from toe surgery performed back in January, and therefore is conducting his own pro day in South Bend on April 9. However, the quarterback is expected to be on hand to meet with any NFL represenative and provide support for his former collegiate teammates. ESPN
As hypocritical of me as it is to say,(my bashing of Bradford) this doens't concern me as he's shown he can play and play well with it even if it never becomes 100%
We know Clausen can play in a true pro-style scheme. Bradford's pro day is much more important because there we get to see the transition (not as big from Bradford as people think) from the shotgun to under-center. They will both work out at their own private pro days, but I can't help feeling that Clausen has the advantage, because he isn't doing anything new and can concentrate on accuracy whilst Bradford is struggling with footwork and snaps.
