The dysfunction never seems to end for the New York Jets. On the same day that head coach Rex Ryan expressed displeasure in the team's pass-to-run ratio in their preseason opener, new offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg hinted that the Jets could be a pass-happy offense this season according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.

"Who said you need to be balanced?" Mornhinweg said. "You score points throwing the ball. Now you're getting into a philosophical situation. Look it, we don't care how we get it done -- running, passing, we don't care who gets the credit. It's whatever it takes to win the next game." Mornhinweg called for 42 passes to just 16 runs in the opener.

This comes on the same day that CBS' Jason La Canfora reported former Eagles coach Andy Reid privately believed Mornhinweg's offense "got a little too-pass happy" in Philadelphia.

So what's the deal? Don't Ryan and Mornhinweg talk to each other in meetings?
