Team A Gets: Peyton Manning. Current QB - Cutler, Orton. Current WR's - Megatron, Andre Johnson, Boldin, Collie. Team B Gets: Megatron & Orton. Current QB - Manning, Roethlisberger. Current WR's - Gaffney, Steve Smith (CAR,) Terrell Owens, Garcon. After Trade: A: Peyton, Cutler - A. Johson, Boldin, Collie. B: Roethlisberger, Orton - Megatron, Owens, Smith, Gaffney. Standard scoring. Nothing special.
that one is iffy. depends on how truly deep of a team you have and whether you NEED your QB to rack up points.
I would think of it competitively also. Both teams get better, but where are you in the standings? If you're team A and are leading this league, I don't make the trade unless team B is a 1-win bottom feeder that you don't have to worry about competing with this year. Just my opinion, sure it'd be nice to have more of a QB to rely on, but I don't like letting my opponents get better as well if they're still in it.
For me it all comes down to who is team A. The trade strengthens both teams but really solidifies team A. If I'm team A I'd do it for sure. If I'm team B I'd look for another way to strengthen the receiver position without strengthening another team quite as much.
