The chances of more NFL games is going to require more talking between the league and its players. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said on Tuesday he doesn't foresee a vote at this week's spring meeting in South Florida on extending the regular season to 17 or even 18 games. "We have tried to look at this from every different perspective because you want to know the intended consequences and the unintended consequences," Goodell said. "Whenever you're dealing with the quality of the game, that's a key factor."

Goodell is still pushing for this.

    I like it.

He's just doing the corporate thing and getting more bang for his buck.
