A roly-poly Kung Fu Panda outslugged the Triple Crown winner. An October outcast outpitched the Cy Young ace. With Pablo Sandoval and Barry Zito taking star turns, this World Series is off to a rollicking start. Sandoval hit three home runs and joined Reggie Jackson, Babe Ruth and Albert Pujols as the only boppers to do it in the Series, and the San Francisco Giants jolted Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers 8-3 on Wednesday night in Game 1. I hate baseball...BUT...I enjoyed the crap out of the game last night...ok, who am I and what have you guys done with "Sweets"?...
Its one game. People shouldn't jump up in arms over it. Remember, Tigers have been off for quite a while, so.
Sure its only one game... but you gotta start worrying when Verlander gets rocked for 6 in only 4 innings.
Verlander sucks in the series. Last time he went 5 and 6 innings respectively and his World Series ERA is over 7.
eh, i was saying the giants had too much momentum to beat them before game 1. i'm not reacting to last night.
at this point, i'm not sure the tigers can win a single game. the giants are just on fire. too much momentum.
