Players began cfreaking into dormitories at St. Norbert College on Thursday in anticipation of the start of Green Bay Packers training camp, giving coaches and the medical staff their first chance at seeing players since the Super Bowl ring ceremony June 16. A source familiar with the team said that linebacker Brandon Chillar suffered a serious hamstring injury that could put his season in jeopardy. Another source said he knew there was an injury issue, but he didn't know the extent of it. Chillar had not yet reported to camp Thursday and the Packers were waiting to examine him to see the extent of the injury. He's not expected to be the only one who comes to camp with an injury.
