The Packers will spend the next six months deciding if they're better with Newhouse at left tackle, Bulaga at right tackle and Don Barclay backing up or Bulaga at left tackle, Barclay at right tackle and Newhouse backing up. If Derek Sherrod is able to resume his career after a year's absence from a broken leg, the former first-round draft choice could improve enough to become a factor as well. Coach Mike McCarthy said at the National Football League combine that he's prepared to enter 2013 at center with Evan Dietrich-Smith, who represented considerable improvement over veteran retread Jeff Saturday in the final four games. "I'll say this," McCarthy said. "We will be a better offensive line next year. You can write that down." Any decision now on moving Bulaga to the left side in 2013 will depend on his health, McCarthy said. Bulaga suffered what he called a small fracture in the capsule of his left hip in Game 9 and was done for the season. "We're not doing anything like that right now," McCarthy said. "We've got to look at the draft and see what happens. "I've got to make sure Bryan comes back from this injury. He's been there (the Packers' facility) every day. I'm not (worried), but you know how that goes." "It's hard for me because I think Bryan has really emerged," McCarthy said. "I think he's an all-pro right tackle. I thought he was having an all-pro year this year. That's the way he graded out for us. He had the bad game at Seattle but he recovered." Source: The Redzone
he was a legit LT prospect that year, RT might have been good for him initially but its probably time to move over
