Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that right tackle Mark Tauscher will need at least one more week to get into football shape before he'll have a chance to practice fully and play in a game. The Packers re-signed the veteran starter Oct. 13. Tauscher, the team's primary starter at right tackle since his rookie season in 2000, was still available as a free agent nine months after he underwent major reconstructive surgery on his left knee. "There is a reason why you go to training camp, just the whole neurological process of your whole body getting beaten on and the stress on his legs," McCarthy said. "(The doctors) just don't feel it's very smart to put him in there right now." Source: FOXSports.com
