Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Tuesday that his fractured collarbone no longer gives him pain while running or throwing a football. Appearing on WAUK-AM's "The Aaron Rodgers Show," the quarterback explained that any decision on his playing status comes down to a risk evaluation as opposed to a pain tolerance issue. A step closer, indeed. Hopefully he can be back for the Thanksgiving game vs the Lions. The problem is that while he may not be in pain anymore, he still hasnt healed to the point where 1 big hit could end his season and force him into surgery and a 5-8 month rehab process. I feel like if the Bears and/or Lions win this week and the Packers lose again, he may come back earlier than the team doctor would like because if he comes back after 5 or 6 weeks, they would be too many games back to make the playoffs.
It's being fractured doesn't somehow increase it's chances of delocation. He runs the same risk of a dislocated clavicle as every other player in the league, whether it's fractured or not.
