Packers coach Mike McCarthy said that John Kuhn would not necessarily move into the No. 1 halfback position even though he had a strong performance late in the game and finished with nine carries for 39 yards. Brandon Jackson remains the starter because Kuhn has to play fullback at times, too. "I don’t view it as No. 1 and No. 2," McCarthy said. Source: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
Fragile BJ will go down by week 6 or 7 anyway - problem resolved....... Kuhn: CAR 26; YDS 121; AVG 4.7 Jackson: CAR 45; YDS 137; AVG 3.0
and now lynch is off the market. the seahawks made the trade. the packers better have a plan for the running game the rest of the season or they're going to look very stupid.
I always rated Wynn higher than Jackson, but they both can't stay healthy. **********Automerged Doublepost********** bah, rodgers lately took care of it too :icon_cheesygrin:
maybe TT feels they can continue to 'fool' defenses by running the ball 7 times a game and throwing it 50. the defenses are going to be so off-balance with their offensive attack. they won't know when those 7 runs are going to happen.
Sounds like a plan, a stupid one. Somehow I doubt we're still contenders. No running game, no secondary, a growing injury list and a GM that didn't adress this issue, be he want to draft a team and won't bring in some vets....
Since Grant got hurt Kuhn's gone 24 for 106; Jackson 27 for 74. Kuhn may not be the starter, but he'll probably be the more productive of the two...
