Cornerback Tramon Williams has signed a $41.25 million contract extension through the 2014 season with the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Tuesday. Williams, who has a team-leading four interceptions as well as 46 tackles, had been playing under a one-year tender worth $3.043 million. According to the Journal-Sentinel, Williams, 27, received a $6 million signing bonus, roster bonuses of $2.5 million in 2011, $2.8 million in 2012 and $300,000 in both 2013 and 2014. The deal increased Williams’ base salary this year to $14,376,333, with $5.074 million of it guaranteed, giving him an average salary of $8.25 million.
