The Packers have signed a punter, former Australian Rules Football player Chris Bryan to a three-year contract, according to his agent/coach Nathan Chapman. Chapman spent time with the Packers during training camp in 2004. He currently mentors Aussie players that want to make the transition to the National Football League.

Kind of funny really that a decent percentage of NFL punters are Aussie Rules Football rejects.

But at least with an Aussie punter, you know your going to get some toughness at the position, they don't make 'em like they do on the convict island.

Punting a ball for Aussies is like throwing it for Americans, we grow up doing it in the street... it's just a matter of learning the required techniques and getting the consistency.

I'm by no means a big kick, no training etc., but I can kick 40yds without a problem.

Also, he was scheduled to visit 3 other teams, but TT pulled the trigger right after seeing him work out...
