Packers starting strong safety Charles Woodson will miss six weeks with a fractured collarbone, FOX Sports reported Monday. Woodson suffered the injury in Sunday's 30-20 win over the Rams in St. Louis. Woodson, 36, is one of the Packers' most versatile players in Dom Capers' defense, and after outside linebacker Clay Matthews, arguably the most valuable. Although Woodson has had some struggles in coverage and often has been flagged for defensive pass interference, he's an integral part of their upfield scheme as a blitzer and run-support player. The Packers' depth chart has M.D. Jennings listed as Woodson's backup. Source: Sporting News
