Panthers special teams player Dante Wesely was ejected for running over Clifton Smith as he waited to make a fair catch on a Carolina punt with 10 seconds left in the first half. Wesely leveled Smith near the Bucs sideline and players from both benches came on to the field as a fight broke out in the end zone. For the Bucs, linebacker Adam Heyward seemed especially incensed as he repeatedly had to be held back by teammates. Source: Tampa Tribune
