The next time the Carolina Panthers reconvene as a football team on Aug. 2 in Spartanburg, S.C., coach John Fox said he expects star defensive end Julius Peppers will be with them. Fox reiterated Tuesday what he said earlier this off-season - that he "anticipates" Peppers will be show up at Wofford College for practices, but wouldn't say what he based that belief on. When asked if the Panthers have been given assurances by Peppers or his agent Carl Carey that he'll there for the start of training camp, Fox sidestepped the question a bit by saying, "This has been worn out as a subject, but I anticipate he will be at camp."
