Peppers is believed to have broken his hand two weeks ago against New Orleans, and that limited him to primarily pass-rushing situations last week against the Atlanta Falcons and again on Thursday night when the Panthers suffered a crushing loss to the Miami Dolphins. “I could say, but I probably wouldn’t’’ Fox told reporters on Friday. Fox shared last week that Peppers’ hand was “messed up†and linebacker Jon Beason already told reporters that Peppers was dealing with a broken hand, which is going to limit his ability to shed blockers and do what he does best, get to the quarterback. “Without being too telling, it does affect your play,†Fox said. “But he'll work through it and we'll work through it.†Earning a cool $1 million per game this season playing under the franchise tag, Peppers has seven sacks, four forced fumbles and an interception, however, he hasn’t notched a sack in three games now.
