Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason has apologized for comments he made about wide receiver Terrell Owens. "I have to apologize for my comments regarding T.O.," Beason tweeted Friday. "I personally would want him on our team in Carolina. He's been a great WR for a long time and will without a doubt be a hall of famer. . . . He'd be a great addition opposite Steve Smith." Yesterday Beason was quoted as saying "There's no way T.O. could be a Panther". Source: Jon Beason, Twitter.com
Pussified free agency era NFL. He should be able to say 'Screw T.O' without fear of his team signing the old goof - and I think T.O has a spot reserved in the 'Hall of Pretty Good' but Canton may very well be another story. That's a whole 'nother conversation though.
i just looked at his numbers and just the niner's years isnt enough. that being said... i think he is hof player based solely on his career stats. he wont get in because of his attitude.
:lmao: Management told Beason to freaking shut up you doofus..a LB talking like he's the spokesperson for the Panther organization....funny crap
