Carolina Panthers starting cornerback Josh Thomas is out after sustaining a concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit on Buffalo Bills receiver Robert Woods, one of three Panthers defensive backs injured in the game. Starting safety Charles Godfrey and reserve cornerback Josh Norman were also injured. The Panthers said Thomas and Godfrey would not return to Sunday's game, while Norman was questionable. Thomas was hurt early in the second quarter when he went up the left sideline and led with his helmet in tackling Woods. Thomas was on the field for a few moments, but was able to get up on his own.
