Panthers head coach John Fox didn't offer quarterback Jake Delhomme a significant vote of confidence, responding to questions about the quarterback's job security as "day-to-day" during his Monday press conference. The bottom line here is that the Panthers just gave him $20 million in guaranteed money back in April, so he'll have a pretty long leash with the starting job. As bad as he played on Sunday against the Eagles, he was under constant pressure from the Philadelphia defense and he should have more time to operate against the Falcons in Week 2. Source: Yahoo! dude, remember all the douchebags on fans that went on & on about how this turd was better than mcnabb.
"So wait, Coach... If I throw four more picks, I'll be able to collect that huge paycheck while riding the bench???"
Uhhh... Jake Delhomme is still a better Quarterback than AJ. No doubt. Yes, he's had a bad streak as of recently but Delhomme is still easily a better Quarterback. Easily.
This writer must not have watched what the Falcons defense did to the vaunted Dolphins O line on Sunday. We'll see how much time Delhomme has in the Dome.
Idk why they dident sign garcia then if there going a diffrent route then jake. I was thinking they made a signing to find a new starter.
