The Panthers lifted beleaguered QB Jake Delhomme because of a chest injury, replacing him with backup Matt Moore in the fourth quarter of the game against the Cardinals. Delhomme was 7-of-14 passing for 90 yards and one touchdown before exiting, and the Panthers led 31-21. The performance came after a week in which Delhomme’s status as Carolina’s starter seemed shaky until coach John Fox said he would stick with the veteran. Source: NFL.com
