Panthers QB Matt Moore is enjoying the team's focus on the passing game in OTAs. "It's been great," he said Thursday. "I think it's publicly known we are really trying to better our passing game (27th in the NFL in 2009) and the three days went spent focusing on that were awesome. I know guys enjoyed it." The Panthers actually used some four-receiver sets during practice Thursday, something they haven't done much of in recent years under coach John Fox. It's one of the new wrinkles the team will have on offense this year. "There has been some new concepts (put in) and some nuances have changed," Moore said. "The new stuff is good. You put that stuff in and run in a couple of times and see how it goes. It's been a positive outcome." Source: CBSSports
I still think that you all are talking in circles with this QB and "throwing" nonsense.:icon_cheesygrin:
I will never forget the day the Panthers beat us with Chris Weinke only throwing the ball 7 freaking times. I'm still haunted.
Got a laugh out of me. Thanks. But once Clausen starts to impress, I'll bet he doesn't get to pass any Moore...?
